This is the story of the event in my open vision of seeing the Face of Jesus. Its purpose is to encourage all to pray and to seek Him for eternal salvation in heaven.

Introduction:
This will be my second article on faith posted on Authors Den. My first was entitled ":A Glimpse of Hell's Valley Prisons". Based on an open vision with a virtual tour of a specific area in hell. This region. was filled with prison cells carved into huge mountain ranges. This Valley of Death was described in detail. along with its horrors, desolation, and risk of eternal imprisonment there. A grim warning that if we do not repent of sin we face eternal damnation there.. The next article is entitled " A Glimpse of Jesus" also based on an open vision. This was an uplifting vision and a direct opposite to the first article. This vision involved the experience of seeing an image of the Son of man in the clouds. Its choice is to seek eternal salvation in heaven.
The Vision:
Based on my notes for June 1983 - After a week long business trip to New England, it is Friday morning. I am driving back home to upstate New York and approaching what is called the Mass Pike Connection to the New York Thruway. This is a hilly and beautiful road in the mountains to arrive at the New York state line. The day was a beautiful one with bright clear skies, a few clouds and light traffic. On or about noontime I was going up an incline where on my left hand side were some mountains with a beautiful valley beneath them. For some reason I slowed down a little bit to enjoy the view as there was no one behind me. While doing so, in turning my head to the left, I caught a glimpse of something on my left hand side of car. There was a very bright whitish glow radiating and shining from the clouds above.in the sky. What appeared and developed next from within these clouds was truly awesome..
What followed cannot be fully expressed in words for what started to appear on my left side of the car in the sky. As I began looking towards and into this cloud bank I was totally amazed at what I saw. It was a huge face of Our Lord Jesus protruding out of these clouds. It appeared to be centered between the clouds but the other clouds formed a kind of a frame around this image.. The cloud with His image just glowed with a brilliant light. Huge shafts of light radiated above and below His face from all these clouds.
It was a portrait I will never forget. I was looking at the full face and the glory of our Lord Jesus in blazing light. This light radiated all around Him. But a different kind of light was coming from His eye sockets. There were two huge bright white shafts of light. These long rays looked somewhat like laser beams as they penetrated the sky. They reached far out beyond the cloud bank . It almost seemed as if they were searching or looking for something. They were perfectly matched and highly visible. Around His face you could detect a beard and maybe some kind of special lighting over His head.
Another source of light began to come from above the clouds too. These were exhibiting as long shafts of sunburst rays above these clouds were His image was. They were the most magnificent shafts or rays of light I have ever seen. These were long and massive, and filled the sky above Him. Am guessing their length in miles. The image of His face looked exactly as was described by John in Revelation 1 and matched them perfectly.. The Lord's body seemed covered by the clouds and not visible at this time. However, on a different occasion, another gift was given to me . This was in the form of a photograph of His body also in clouds of the air. Thus putting together both this vision the photo and confirming scripture we now have a complete picture of our Lord . The heavens remained this way several minutes or so as I had been able to slow down a lot due to no traffic behind me. After trying to take this all in I began to speed up but kept looking back from the rear view mirror. I could still see the very bright sky area and His Face a little while longer until it disappeared in the horizon. What did not disappear were those bright sunbursts of rays all over the sky above, behind and sometimes in front of me.
As I continued driving Westward these giant rays of light were always there. They seemed to stay ahead of me like pointing the direction. After getting on the New York Thruway, these rays were still ahead of me. They reached out stretching for miles ahead or so it seemed. But here is another realization. Those bright rays were not only following me but they did not seem to follow or be near any other cars. I want to point out that it has been my habit to use these quiet times during many trips to pray. On this specific trip there had been a large and unusual amount of praying going on the whole trip. It was a very special time in my life.. .
As I began to realize that this vision was more than pointing direction it also was comforting, with companionship along with a guide in the sky to complete the trip home. As far as coverage of the sky- these rays took up a massive area along my left side and in front of me. Traveling along the Mohawk river section the NY Thruway, which was about halfway home, the rays still continued to appear to lead but only on the left or driver side of the car. Upon approaching the Utica area it was getting later afternoon and there was less light. Even though the light rays were fainter,they nearly followed all the way back home to upstate NY. . ..
I cannot precisely set the tine frame or duration of all these events. Totally the occurrence lasted at least three hours. I remember also, feeling incredible joy and thanksgiving all the way on the road home. There was this presence of spiritual love too.
Now, almost 37 years after this vision- it is still as clear in my mind as when it first happened. Since then a lot of other things have happened too. Clearly this vision resulted from an answer to prayers. For ever will this remain in memory as a very special gift that I am very thankful for. Although very personal, I was urged by the Holy Spirit that it was time to publish this for my readers. As this vision has totally changed my spiritual life it is my hope in sharing this with you- it will impact and change your lives also..
Conclusion and Confirmation:
I want to explain the history of that photograph previously mentioned as we complete this article. As stated above the photograph was first seen in 1977. This photograph was taken of the clouds outside the plane going through a stormy area encountered in the long flight from Italy to the USA. The photographer was a window seated passenger, a grandmother, on her first flight to the USA. This passenger happened to be a grandmother coming to visit her grand daughter who was part of our office staff in New York. The grandmother had never flown before and was fearful of flying.. Obviously this long flight must have been stressful for her. To go on this trip the grandmother brought her Polaroid camera with her.
Apparently there were some bumpy parts on this flight. As she was seated looking out the window and praying she took a photo of the clouds outside. After arriving in New York she shared the picture with her grand daughter. To their surprise an unknown image had developed on the print. The grand daughter then took it to our office and asked if I knew what the figure or image was.. When the picture had been taken- nothing was seen in the viewfinder of a figure. But when the film was developed, clearly, a tall robed figure was seen standing on the clouds outside the plane's window .There was no visible head or face as the figure seemed to be walking back into the cloud base. I have a copy of that photo.
Upon some Bible checking we determined that this image matches the Biblical account of the vision of the Son of man in the book of Revelation in chapter 1. written by John. In this chapter of revelation,The Son of man is described as being clothed with a garment down to the foot. with a sash at the waist (girt about the paps with a golden girdle-in the photograph this was white). This photograph combined with my vision provided a completion for seeing all of Our Lord. My prayer after this photo was asking to see the face of our Lord.
