As I remember and remind me cause I could be wrong but I remember a particular fad in my day like afro’s...they were big…imposing to some and admittedly when all is said and done like I said they were a fad…
OK possibly we might have thought the style was dripping with cool points…but there was a pride aspect involved too .. that we could finally be proud of our culture, our heritage and who we were…
.But whatever it was or wasn’t …it never caused one’s head to swell and if it had…I would have been just as bald then as I am today…
