A THOROUGHLY MODERN WOMAN
I am a modern woman by any definition. I don’t care what my parents say. They are completely off the mark with their leftist ideas about women in the workplace. They would have me out in the street protesting for higher wages when I think my highest purpose as a citizen is best served by doing exactly what I’m doing now. I'm going to marry the man I love and I'm giving every ounce of my support to him. He deserves everything I have to give him. He treats me with the greatest respect and asked for my hand without demanding anything in return. I was unsure at first because my parents wanted me to go to college and continue my education. Again, they’re trying to direct my life in a direction I don’t agree is right. They don’t really like him which I consider almost unpatriotic. As much as I love them, my parents continue to allow left wing politics to poison their understanding of the great places our country is headed.
My fiancé is one of the best and the brightest of our generation. He’s a heroic soldier who volunteered his service to his country without being asked. He’s putting his life on the line for his country which I consider the highest good. I know my parents think that it's a bad idea for a young couple to marry when the husband-to-be is soon to report for duty. I feel the opposite. I want to give my heart and soul to this brave man and be there for him in every hour of his need.
Our country has emerged from the most difficult financial disasters we’ve faced in years. Our great leader has de-regulated stupid rules that were holding us back, and keeping our industries at a standstill. He’s standing up to world leaders who have taken advantage of us in the past. He’s making them all respect us again. He’s making us great again.
My mother and father complain that he’s racist and that he makes us look bad to the world with his rants and raves about things that I think are on the minds of most of the good people of this land. Yes, he may sound a little like he’s anti-homosexual at times, but so what? Isn’t that consistent with the teachings of the Bible and all moral people? Some say he has religious biases that taint his positions, but I say he’s just out to protect us from people who would do us harm because of the religious culture they follow. Some complain that he’s anti-immigrant, but, again, it appears to me that his ideas about restricting aliens are for the good of the country. I want to follow him to the great country he is building for us all.
Our leader makes me want to do all I can for my country. I also want to put my political party first because I believe it represents the true will of the people. I will follow his lead and support my brave fiancee as he stands with his comrades in defense of this great nation. I know my fiancee to be pure in his heart with love of family and country above all else. I will hope to be the mother of his children. Like my fiancee, I will give my heart and body to the work of this great nation.
I love my parents. They have every reason to support the good that has come our way because of the strong will of our great leader. They seem blind to me, unable to see beyond the fog of divisiveness that others try to bring to our country. They seem deaf to the ugliness that others try to use to destroy all that is fine and good in this land of ours. If they don’t change the way they speak about these things, I will pray about it. But I am sure that I must turn my back on them if they don’t open their eyes. I can’t stand to hear them speak the way they do with utter disrespect for those who are trying to save us all. I’m not saying I won’t try to help them if they are hurt or need help. My hand will always be ready to help them, but they won’t be in my life if they don’t stop complaining about Adolf Hitler. He is a great man who deserves the respect of all of us.
Meanwhile, I accept the philosophy of the party. My body is not for my personal pleasure. It is an instrument and the property of the state. I must use it to produce pure children who will carry us into the future. I must use it to do whatever is necessary to please my fiancee so that he may use his own body to protect us from the evil of the geopolitical world outside our borders.
Heil Hitler! May the glory of the Third Reich reign forever. Make Germany great again!
You got me with this one. Great twist at the end. She certainly probably made the cut as a German mother receiving the Cross of Honour for having birthed at least four children for the Reich. She should probably not have used "comrade" for her husband's fellow soldiers. It is generally considered a communist term. Ughh!
There certainly is a parallel today when women faithfully follow their husband in a subservient way to match Donald Trump's choice of womanhood. Like the Daughters of the American Revolution, there is a certain element of conservative women that support conservative men, regardless of their abuse of women. It's expected and endured. That's a shame. Time for it to end.
