Short and sweet story. Happy Thanksgiving What to be thankful for this 2018 Thanksgiving day? If you still have a roof over your head, family in your life who love you, clean water to drink, good food to eat, be thankful. So many people have lost so much this year. If you still remain at peace within yourself, be thankful. If you still have a job and good friends, be thankful. Money can''t buy you happiness is a cliche that''s as old as dirt, but it''s still sacred words. The most important things in your life are not... things. Wishing all of my friends in the Den a very Happy Thanksgiving. Mary Lynn Plaisance

I am thankful for all of God's blessing, even in times of great sorrow and pain. I am also very thankful for my wonderful husband and children who stood together with comfort and hope when two of them died of cancer.

Thank you for your positive declaration. I am thankful that I'm still able to write every day and have the best food I've ever eaten, the best entertainment I've ever seen, and the best communication with others that ever existed. Thankful that I understand the world better than I ever did and that people all around the world have picked up on Thanksgiving and celebrate the holiday like we do even though they never came to this country poor and starving, to be rescued by natives and given a huge feast from their first harvest.
