From Tor: Last of the Thals. This is a draft, so your comments are appreciated. Tor comes upon a strange woman who seems to be glad to see him. He finds out how glad.

Connie Chiu, Albino Model

As Lake Geneve loomed larger in view from the lower slope of the mountain, Tor grew tired of all the walking. It was also warmer, much warmer, so he stopped and removed his heavy mountain clothes to his loincloth and mounted Tsen once again. The stallion sensed green grass ahead, and was eager to get to it. With the sun beating down and the heat from the horse's exertion moving upward, Tor was sweating in the late afternoon sun, eager to get down to the lake and take a cool dip in it before finding a place to camp for the night.

As they came closer and the trees got bigger and more lush, there was something up ahead in the distance along the trail that caught Tor's eye and seemed out of place. At the pace they were going, what he saw soon became clearer. It was a young girl unlike any young girl he had ever seen. She stood out amongst the green background and the brown fallen log with green moss on it that she sat upon in the shade of huge trees like some kind of goddess, a sprite? He wasn't sure. Were his eyes deceiving him?

The girl was pale, so pale that she seemed almost like one of the gods. And her hair was white and flowing down over a course, but open weave brown shift that most girls wore in the summertime. As he approached closer he saw that she was barefoot, swaying to and fro, and swinging her legs back and forth as if she were dancing to her own song. Shin spotted her, too, and growled low, staying close as though perhaps that girl might forewarn some danger up ahead.

Tor admonished, "Shin, quiet. She's not a danger."

Shin whined, then whimpered, and quieted down. When they got close enough, Tor saw her giving the universal greeting sign, whatever the language, raising her hand up and waving it back and forth. She was smiling, too. Tor could see her nearly perfect teeth showing between her pink lips. She seems so transparent that he could see through her skin. And her eyes were pink and alluring. Very strange. But she seemed real. Not a nymph.

The girl called out, "Hello!," in a language that he understood but was a bit different from his and the people of the Po. "I've been waiting for you ever since I saw you high on the mountain on that magnificent goat. That is a goat like I have never seen before. Where did you get it?"

Tor gathered some of what she was saying from their mutual vocabulary. He answered. "This is not a goat, this is a horse. His name is Tsen and he is a very able companion, along with my dog, Shin. He was a gift to me."

With that, Shin took what Tor called out as some kind of a command and ran up ahead to the girl, jumping up and licking her swinging feet. It tickled, and she giggled. But he didn't stop there. Dog that he was, Shin jumped up further and stuck his nose under her shift and began licking there. Instead of reacting to it by pushing him away or beating on his head, the girl began patting his head and rubbing his ears. Letting him lick away as a strange look came over her face that Tor was familiar with. Did his dog know something he didn't?

By now, Tor was close enough to smell her. She smelled of sweet wildflowers. He was sweating more now, wondering about this wood wench, sprite, or goddess luring him into danger of an unknown kind?

He called out. "Shin, stop that. That's not nice. Not nice, dog!" Tor dismounted and walked over to pull Shin away from her.

"Oh but it is nice, please let him continue. I have not felt anything like that in my entire life! It is wonderful. And so are you, so handsome in your sweat soaked bronze skin. I am Silva, what's your name?"

"I am Tor. I am on a journey back to my home, far in the north to help my mother. I have been through here before with my father. Why have I not seen you?"

"Oh, I have seen you, last season like this when you came through with some evil men. We all hid for fear. Those men raped and killed us in the past. But I knew somehow, that you were younger and kinder. So I have waited here many days hoping that you would come by again. I am looking for someone just like you."

By this time, Tsen had taken the opportunity to wander off and graze. Shin had stopped his licking fervor and rejoined Tor, now standing before Silva and looking up at her swinging her legs with that wonderful glow on her face and that alluring body and skin that made Tor sweat all the more. He found himself staring.

"You have not seen an albino before? In the clan that I come from, this happens. They do not know why, but they think we are evil and cast us out. We have formed our own clan nearby. We keep hidden from most people for the reason I just told you. We are abused. But I trust him you wouldn't harm me or us."

"But you smell so wonderful?"

"Just a trick that I had to help you find me attractive and not abhorrent. I have been rubbing sweet smelling wildflowers on my skin. I just finished bleeding and it helps cover-up that smell that I believe your dog, Shin?, liked so much. Like everyone else, my blood is red. My skin and hair is just white." She smiled broader through her glow.

"I stink. I was planning on taking a dip in the lake before setting up camp."

"I love to swim. Let's race." She hopped off the log and her shift flew up showing that her fur down there, while almost nonexistent, was a wispy white as well. And scampered off ahead of him towards the water a short distance away. Her waist long white hair flying behind her.

Tor had a hard time keeping up with this pale but athletic girl as she leapt over rocks, fallen trees and dodged other obstacles. When she got to the waterside, the shift came off easily and she literally dove into the lake with a joyous laugh and a lot of splashing. Tor caught up and thought for a moment. But only a moment, before stripping off his loincloth and jumping in to join her. It had been since the Poe clan that he had swam with others. Seeming now like a long time ago. But he enjoyed it more with this nymph who was clearly flirting.

The water was ice cold and brought goosebumps to them both. As he swam toward her, she dived. Even though the water was clear, he didn't see her until she came up behind him and grabbed him around his chest. He could feel her breasts warm against his back as she kissed his neck freely and moved up and down with her kicking feet as they both tread water. Her hips brushing his buttocks as she did.

Tor turned around to face her and her breasts floated up above the water. They were so transparent that he could see blue blood vessels under the skin. But it wasn't ugly. And her nipples were rigid from either the cold or excitement, he couldn't tell which.

She was rubbing him with her right hand all over, washing him or so it seemed. Rather intent in doing it as she stared with dilated black pupils at every bump and scar on his chest. And then, she reached down beneath his legs and rubbed there, not only cleaning, but giving him a sensation beloved. Finally, she whispered in his ear.

"I'm getting cold. Let's get up on the bank where it's warmer." She swam away from him quickly, ran out of the water and to a spot where the moss was thick like a straw bed but much softer.

Tor followed as quickly as he could. She was so inviting. Waving him over and patting the moss next to her for him to join her. They were both still very wet but they didn't think of drying off. She wanted wet kisses and he gave them to her. She wanted more, guiding his hands. She was clearly naïve, childlike in her love of him by the way she moved.

Tor remembered what Leia had taught him. He gently applied that to Silva. And she eagerly agreed to everything he was doing. She reacted to his gentle finger movements touching her on her breasts and in other places where she felt even more excited than when Shin had licked her. When he entered, she cried a bit, but he was slow and gentle and soon she was responding in rhythm and enjoying it with increasing small cries and moans showing her pleasure. So foreign yet so wonderful. More than she had expected.

It wasn't long before he erupted in an orgasm like he hadn't with all the other women. There was something so magical about Silva he didn't understand. Still aglow with afterthought of her first experience, she giggled and tasted the white stuff that was still leaking from her and on his tool after it subsided a bit. And then, they just laid there in each other's arms, kissing and relaxing from all the exertion. Shooing Shin away, attracted to the smell of blood.

Silva whispered in his ear. "I want a normal child. No one from my clan can give me one. With normal children, we can trade them for meat in other things we can't make. None of us can hunt very well and we eat mostly fish. You will come with me tonight. Don't be disturbed by what you see. My people are friendly. More frightened than anything else."

Behind them in the forest there was a growing disturbance. A rustling of hooves and squealing. Shin lying nearby, growled. Tor cautioned him. "Quiet dog… Quiet now."

Tor knew what it was. Two wild boars fighting. He put his finger to his lips to signal Silva to be quiet, pushed both of his hands down to tell her to stay there, and crawled off, naked, to find Tsen and his bow and arrows.

This is one very believable story. She may have been a sprite taking human form. What a fun time I had reading this, Ron!! I picked up in this part of your story and will read more of it as I forever try to get caught up somewhat!!! Very cool!!

Must say, this was interesting. I would never have considered an albino for a character. It just never occurred, I suppose because I've never met one for myself? Kudos for creativity here!

I have not been following this from the start so could not comment although the story is well written. I would ask though, where did you come up with the great illustration of the "pale girl"?

Well, this was certainly an earthy, event-filled experience for the two innocent young lovers. But I sense trouble ahead...
