Christmas time is really a wonderful time of year when things seem to speed up, but slow down as well in the right moments. As we all have faced a trying year that seemed to come out of no where and knock us down. One thing is to remember you made it this far so get back up and let’s end this year together in peace. As a visual in my mind I like to think we are all holding hands with hearts full of love. No more wars, no more fighting amongst ourselves, and no ill will towards those that have wronged us in the past. It is almost like being angry letting a person or thing to live in your head and heart rent free as they tear you down. Let’s rise up as a people and a nation and better ourselves not only for those around us now but for future generations to follow in a footprint of love and peace.  As this year begins to close and 2021 is getting ready to open a new chapter of life and amazing wonders let’s not forget those who could not see the door close on the year 2020. Let’s also remember this holiday season that it is not about the presents but for me I know it is about God’s presence. I thank God that even though this year has roughed us up it has not knocked us out for the ten count yet, so let’s get up and celebrate not only Christmas, a new year, but life and how we will overcome an obstacle set to take us out.
