The King Wizard
Once in an unbelievable land lived the King Wizard. The King Wizard was a very horrible man with an ill temper and bad manners. The King Wizard ruled over all the land. The King Wizard ruled with an iron hand. No one moved without his authority. The people of his land were told what to do, when to do it and how to do it. They were told what to wear, where to shop, what they could have, and what they couldn't have. The King Wizard lived by one philosophy. The solution to any problem was for someone to die. He had everyone in his kingdom;'s deaths planned according to the events of the land, where they would prove most useful. No one resisted the King Wizard and the King Wizard feared no one. Not even the Land Patrol. The Land Patrol policed the lands in all the kingdoms to make sure that the laws of the Kingdom Federation were observed.
The King Wizard was so formidable that if he told one of his subjects to die they would kill themselves. The King wizard delved a lot in mind basing. He would repeat something over and over again until his subjects believed it to be true . He maintained control over his subjects' minds through mind basing. For all practical reasons, the subjects had no idea what they were doing or the real reason why.
The King Wizard's elite would infiltrate families through marriage and go to work on relatives until the whole family was wiped out. This was how he rooted out the undesirable of the land. The spouses would berate the in-laws and point out embarrassing flaws constantly until the other spouse killed the particular spouse's parents and siblings.
Mind basing was a potent weapon against anyone the King Wizard didn’t like. The King Wizard's main agenda was total control. This assured that he remained in power.
The King Wizard ruled for many years undetected by the Land Patrol. The people lived a horrible miserable life in fear. One day, Hans, the Land Patrol Officer for the King Wizard's land noticed a pattern in the sequences of deaths, who the people were who died, and what the events were that were going on at the time, and how the deaths benefited the King Wizard. Hot on the tracks of the King Wizard, Hans linked all of the deaths of the land back to each event and back to the King Wizard. The King Wizard was locked away, never to cause any more grief and fear in the land.
