We know little of simple creation, this genesis of cyclic perpetuity, but… it exists. For the hurting heart and mind, courage to learn through adversity, finding nourishment in the replanting of living seeds, unearths wisdom through survival. (A prosetry/flash fiction exploration into how and why we survive much of life trying to take us down.)

Endurance

Year after year, decade to decade, planting life's seeds often begets inclement weather.

While sun nurtures, harvest's season awaits, patience abides.  Desiring gentle yield, consciousness beckons tools.

Time's dense weave renders baskets of understanding. selection's precious moment of gathering arrives. Nimble fingers of the mind implore release.  Tangled vines, branches, limbs of protection concede.

Wisdom awaits the sorting, casting aside hasty pickings, gently nesting ready growth beneath shaded cover, allowing cooling air to provide breath, as seasonal voicing's infinite echo arrives.

Expecting…

A painter's brush, a sculptor's marble, a composer's melody, a writer's language, all made ready for the creation of the heart's feast, an intellect's arrangement, delivering to a patron's enjoyment.

So goes Nature's design.  Creations yet to come, new plantings, conflicts, and finally, survival.

Imagination's seasonal harvest—having weathered both calm and turbulence—is ready to again cultivate life’s roots to spawn new growth and the next season of survival.

Such is the imaginative nature of life’s endurance.

Cyclic perpetuity…I like that. “Creations yet to come, new plantings,…” this fits with efforts of humans to redress decency, empathy and growth as a species aspiring to evolve. We replant ourselves with “baskets of understanding.”. “Wisdom awaits the sorting,”— how appropriate for this 11/8/2022 time in our lives. ~~ djl

The thing about betrayal is that it never comes from your enemies, only those closest to you. Some time ago, I saw in a vision that you endured a great loss, and that it challenged you to a great depth psychologically and emotionally. I can assuredly relate. I've learned this personally in my life, that if you want something you've never had, you have to do something you've never done. And that always involves sacrifice. All the very best Kent.... Survival is what makes us who we are. We may not survive but life survives and the best always come out on top. And if you are and I are survivors, we will be wise.
