This particular instance is much more unexplainable than the few others I have experienced during my life. I say it's paranormal because it was an actual manifestation.
My other experiences were fairly basic, and possibly even explainable, for instance, when I lived in Italy, my touch lamp would occasionally go through its settings like someone was rapidly touching it. Maybe it was the wiring.
However, when it comes to this recent occurrence, I have no explanation. I wouldn't say that I'm a skeptic, but I haven't really seen any tangible evidence, at least not in real life. We do like to watch paranormal channels on YouTube, and some of them are quite unexplainable.
When it happens in real life, though, there is no denying it, and in this case, no explaining it away either.
It was pretty late, maybe nine or ten or so. We were in our bedroom watching something or other. We have a small apartment and so she was sitting on the bed while I was in the chair at the end of it. We were chatting about something and we both suddenly stopped when we saw it.
Next to the bed is a black nightstand that was a backdrop for my view of it. It didn't last for long, but it looked as though someone blew a small puff of smoke directly at my wife. It dissipated right before it reached her. From my view it looked very circular and almost formed a ring before it disappeared.
We both looked at each other in disbelief, making sure that we had both seen it. She said that she didn't feel or smell anything, but we both definitely saw the same thing. She has believed for a long time that her late fiance has been following her around, possibly acting as a guardian angel from time to time. He was a smoker, and we also both smelled his cologne one time.
Not really sure what it means if it was him. I can tell you that it's the most tangible paranormal experience that I've ever had. I do get a bit of a chill when I think about it. Not for fear of being hurt by a ghost, but more of the idea that it's possible that our spirit could end up floating around here for who knows how long. Is this also the Guf? Are we doomed to spend our time here until the next life cycle, or perhaps evolve into another dimension?
All in all, it was a chilling experience with two witnesses. An actual manifestation that we cannot explain in the slightest. If it had had a random shape I would say that it was just dust kicked up by air currents, but instead, it really did look like when someone blows smoke out of their mouth, taking on a funnel-like shape from my view.
