Today is the Day. Have you ever had the kind of day that makes you wonder why you even got out of bed at all? Conversely, have you ever had a day that was so wonderful you hated for it to end? Clearly, all days are not created equal. Some days are easier than others—even enjoyable—while others, not so much. The truth is, whatever each day brings, we need to try our very best to live each day to the fullest. And we can only do that, regardless of what the day brings, with God’s unfailing help,
Who Holds the Reigns in Your Life?
When you believe that God is in control of your life, and you give Him the reigns, good things happen. Great things, actually. When we believe that this is the day the Lord has made, we are far more able to roll with whatever comes our way, and rejoice and be glad in it, as this scripture says. It is important for us to understand that God, Our Creator, is The One who gives us life. He is not some distant God—rather, He is the Living God. He didn’t just create us and set us out on our own to fend for ourselves. Instead, He gives us the option to do as we please through giving us free will, and also his divine presence in our daily life. So we get to choose how we want to live at any given time--and today is the day!
The Key to Calm Serenity & Blessings
As we grow in faith, we come to realize that we can trust in Jesus to work all things out for our good and the common good, regardless of circumstances. That is why heartfelt prayer, worshipping, and asking for God’s help, have the power to turn any situation, any difficult day around. This enables us to experience tremendous serenity, calm and blessings, even joy, especially in times of adversity, as we learn to place our trust in Jesus. That’s where it all begins. Trusting in Jesus enables us to rise above any circumstances that we may face on any given day. It is essential to our well-being, making us better able to experience joy and rejoice as this scripture says, both in good times and during turbulent times.
Give It All to Jesus
Today's the day to turn to God and give it all to Him— your loved ones, your happy times, your success…Give him your disappointments, your frustrations, your insecurities, and your failures. Why wait? Jesus stands beside us leading and guiding us, protecting, comforting, and saving us over and over again, from the throws of the difficulties that we face—all that this life throws our way. Ask and let Jesus heal you of depression, anxiety, loneliness, infirmity, despair, mayhem, and torment …all of it!
Yes—today is the day. All we really need to do is ask Jesus for his help, and trust in Him that He will work all things out for good. Perhaps that seems a little too simplistic. When we pray and ask for whatever we need, knowing that He can do all things and gives us strength to press on, we experience great relief and peace. That is exactly why we are able to rejoice with complete abandon when we know God’s got this—when we trust that He holds us in the palm of His Almighty hands, and is working all things out for good on our behalf for those who love Him.
