Mr Bubumkin And The River Of Dreams

Cradled between Smokey Mountain and the Olden Hills is Sunny Valley . Through Sunny Valley is the river of dreams that flows out to the Mermaid Sea . On top of Smokey mountain lives Carmella Crackpot inside her Castle of Spells . When ever she would sing , her voice has an enchantment that calls out to the fish in the river of dreams who leap out from the water and turn into flying fish that fly away to the castle of spells on top of Smokey mountain where Carmella Crackpot awaits with her frying pan and cooking pot .
There’s no better taste than flying fish cooked in a frying pan with herbs and spices from the Smokey mountain top .
On the Banks of the river of Dreams , there’s a purple patch known as the
Mr Bubumpkins place . All around there grow magic mushrooms, bluebells , buttercups and honeysuckles trees . Mr Bubumpkin ilooks after all of those plants and flowers , He often sings and tells stories to the creatures who live around the Olden Hills . Everyoine loves to listen to his voice except for
Carmella Crackpot who is very jealous of Mr Bubumpkins singing voice .
She is never happy whenever he sings his songs around the river of dreams . In times past she tried all kinds of things to make Mr Bubumpkin unhappy .
She sucked all the honey from the honeysuckle trees and she stole the butter from the buttercups and the tinkle from the blue bells but Mr Bumbumpki never stopped singing and remained happy . She now had a plan to steal all the magic from the magic mushrooms in her attempt to make him unhappy .
From the beginning of time fairy folk like Mr Bubumpkin had told stories and sang songs to all of the small animals who live around the Olden Hills .
So Mr Bubumpkin had many friends that helped him like the dragonfly’s who brought him messages , and the speckled frogs from the river of dreams who came with their jokes and croaks to keep him happy . There was also the winds of wonder that often brought a kind hush with a whistle in his ears to make him feel relaxed .
It was Halloween night when Carmella Crackpot came to take the magic from the magic mushrooms ., She held a wand in one hand and a spell book in the other that she opened up underneath the full moon that shone down on the purple patch . As she started to cast her wicked spell , the wind wailed and howled , the frogs groaned and moaned , the dragonflies brought message to the mermaids who lived beyond in the sea and it wasn’t long before the mermaids started to sing to the four winds that carried their charming voices to the ferryman on the river of dreams who came to carry away Carmella Crackpot who was never seen again and the magic remain with the mushrooms and Mr Bubumpkin lived happily ever after telling stories and singing songs to all who lived around the river of dreams .
I love the names of your characters. I believe this the kind of story that would delight small children. But I'm afraid it is now just a part of the politician's platform of agenda.
