A long time ago by the Lake of Lowers there lived a dinosaur called Dinky who never hurt anyone .
It never fought, it never did anything but eat leaves from the fir trees in the fiery forest where the mammoth’s mumbled and the t-rex’s grumbled as lava tumbled and the ground crumbled under the terrible heat of the Sulphur .
Long lazy lizards lay on logs like lazy lay-bouts licking up the lake flies with their long tongues as bamboo trees grew inch by inch every second as the echo of the creaking bamboo echoed all across the dense fiery forest .
A clan of nomadic cavemen called the Ferris tribe found peace in the rocky hills of Infitland close to the Lake of Lowers . The Ferris tribe were hunters by nature , but nature also hunted them out with constant lava flows and heavy rain that flooded their caves once a year .
As the rain washed away the lowland you would see an instant change around the forest with new growth that spurted up everywhere .
The thick forests were kept under control by Dinky and his friends the dinosaurs that loved to chew new grassy green leaves .
They loved all of the new foliage that grew around the fiery forest .
Dinky had become very good friends with some of the Ferris tribes neb and give them rides on their fluffy tuffy tails .
Some rides lasted for days and days as Dinky took them far far away into the depths of the forest .
One day Dinky was giving a ride to one of the kids from the Ferris tribe sure enough a terrible thing happened .
The ground opened up and the earth shook and in a million blazes the whole planet seemed to disappear in the sulphur fire .
The ground tried to swallow up all the dinosaurs as they tried to run back into the fiery forest .
Lucky for Dinky that she was 10 miles away by the Lake of Lowers and wasn’t swallowed up into the deep furrows in the earth by the fiery forest,
When Dinky returned back to the Fiery forest she couldn’t find her friends . She was very worried and after a few days she became very lonely .
After an ache and a shake she walked off towards the lake , When she came to the water a very strange thing happened .
Suddenly from out of nowhere came a whirring sound cut the quiet in two . The silence had been broken and a box shaped machine appeared beside the lake . As it landed the top of the strange machine opened up and three men dressed in strange clothes got out and looked about . They pointed at Dinky and one of them said .
“A dinosaur. We’ve come back too far . This is prehistoric, not the dark ages.”
Dinky stood there shaking in fear as the three men came walking over towards her .
“Let’s take this back in our spaceship to the 27th Century “
Said the tallest on them .
“What a fantastic idea. “
Said the smallest of the three .
“ Is their enough room in the time traveler ? ”
Said the one in between the taller and the smaller.
“Sure, there’s plenty of room.”
Said the tallest of the three.
The smallest of the three fired a dart from a handheld device that knocked Dinky unconscious .
The next thing Dinky was placed upon the spaceship .
The moment she opened her eyes she found herself in a strange wonderful world looking around .
She didn’t know any of the surroundings . She was frightened and her eyes fell upon the steel bars of the cage that kept her prisoner .
With lots and lots of people staring at her , she felt very uncomfortable .
A man with a camera took a phot of Dinky but when the flash went off she burst out of the cage and ran inside the strange box shaped machine that brought her there . The door suddenly shut behind her .
Dinky accidently sat down upon a lever and the engine started to stir and whir and the time machine went spinning through a spiral of colours and back into time , back , back into the age of prehistoric man .
Dinky got out of the spaceship in the fiery forest about a day and a half before the earthquake had happened .
So she had plenty of time to warn all her friends about the terrible thing that was going to happen.
Of course not one dinosaur or one tribesmen believed her .
But when she showed them the strange box that she came in them they took notice of her and left the hills of Infitland land .
When the earthquake came the dinosaurs were saved, although the time machine was swallowed up in the deep cracks and was melted in the hot lava underneath the ground.
