After the nuclear war life goes on and a brave new world begins
It was Christmas morning and as the underground bunker dwellers emerged for the first time to the surface , they were shocked at what they saw . All the buildings around the streets of the City had been turned into rubble .
What once was a thriving modern city and playground for the rich now resembled a quarry site .
The nuclear war had ended all that and now reality was a cold hard fact to face
Most of the world leaders had survived because of their private underground bunkers that had been built long before the war began .
The police and security forces had also been kept safe during the war to ensure that the heads of state would be protected just in case paramilitaries who also had their own underground shelters would attempt to take control of the governments after the war was over .
The whole situation became complex and dangerous with just maintaining everyday life .
The survival needs for individual members of the government i
had been addressed before the war , with the manufacture of robots who would be conducting medical surgery and other needs in life care programs . Food supplies and energy requirements had also been stored away in huge underground storage facilities that would last for decades until the surface of the earth had recovered and renewed enough to sustain life giving ecology once again .
Then there were the other rescue bots that were created by one of the underground electronic engineers who had the forward thinking that there could be other humans that could somehow have survived the nuclear war and be lying still alive somewhere underneath the rubble .
Unknown to the government and security networks the rescue bots went into action . These rescue bots had already been
pre- programmed and ID’s disguised as ground force cleaning robots and demolishing bots who had free access all over the world to commence the clean up and rebuilding of cities around the planet .
Unknown to the government there were also secret shelters that had been previously built to accomodate surface survivors and provide all the necessary resource’s for them .
As the rescue bots went into action searching for life , in selected sections of the city , they
detected sounds and movement deep under the ground .
Along the road came squads of robots with specialised equipment and they began an excavation in the first part of their rescue operation. What a surprise it was after week when they found a network of underground tunnels that uncovered several dome like dwellings and miraculously they found a small community of people still alive . They had somehow managed to survive the aftermath of the war .
They were immediately rounded up by the Care Bots and taken to the surface and assessed before they were brought to their allocated living areas . The rescue Bots continued to look
for survivors every day and night and each nine was brought to the surface and given shelter .
Eventually they were all brought to a place where pre- recorded information and videos were viewed . The survivors all sat and listened to every work spoken “
