Why Cooks and suction cups dont mix
I am writing this to inform and save many people from the dangers of suction cups. These seemingly harmless tools are very dangerous in the hands of small children and bored cooks. It was Sunday night when I found out about these dangerous devices, one was sitting innocently enough on a food warmer.
I bieng bored from lack of business proceded to do what most people do with suction cups, I stuck it on the wall, the doors and counters. It was then a small voice inside my head said to me "stick it to your forhead". With it bieng such a slow day my common sense was half asleep and before it had time to veto such an idea the suction cup was firmly attached to my forhead.
I then learned the following things about suction cups;
1. They stick to a cooks head quite well.
2. After you stick a suction cup to your head you begin to develop a headache.
3. The suction cup in question was much stronger than I had first believed.
4. To pull a suction cup off of your forhead you need to yank hard 3 or 4 times.
5. After you have pulled the suction cup off of your head you are left with a 2 inch bruise where the suction cup was.
6. The sight of this ordeal will reduce your co-workers into a fit of laughter which will recour every time they see the bruise on your head.
7. Your co-workers will then make sure that the entire building will know what occoured in the next half hour, the entire state will know within the week.
8. A hat is required for the next week or so until the bruise has dissappeared.
9. Each time you pass a mirror these thoughts will visit you " What possessed me to stick a suction cup to my forhead." and "Cooks and suction cups should be banned"
