Coming April 1st, "CITY ON A HILL," the second entry in my three-novel series "The Parables of the Carpenter," from HarperCollins. This volume continues the story of Jeshua bar Joseph (Jesus of Nazareth) as he labors as a young journeyman carpenter in and around Galilee. This time Jeshua finds himself enmeshed in the dangerous politics of Sepphoris, the capital city of Galilee, where he meets for the first time but not the last, the wicked tetrarch Herod Antipas, the man who would later behead John the Baptist. In this book, like the others in the series, several parables are expanded upon, including the Parable of the Unjust Judge and the Parable of the Wicked Servant.
