Success Story
In 2001 my collection, Odd Lot: Stories to Chill the Heart, won 9 awards. So in 2003 I wrote and published Even Odder: More Stories to Chill the Heart, which has been recommended for the horror genre's prestigious Bram Stoker Award. On July 4, 2004 I'll have Oddest Yet: Even More Stories to Chill the Heart on the stands. These collections of weird tales have been so popular that, in my early 50s, I've been able to "retire" from my first profession (minister of 25 years) and write fulltime. I'm suddenly in demand for New England middle school author visits.
