Success Story
I am a recent receipent of the Gwendolyn Brooks Poetry Award in Chicago (Poetry Center of Chicago honored me for my work with youth poets in Chicago's Public Schools and the community). This is a high honor that I will cherish. I also received another poetry award in addition to having three poems published in traditional magazines. I am honored and blessed.
