Success Story
After many years, I got up the nerve to send a novel to an agent. I got back the note. . my work was "like a pearl amongst swine". . it didn't work out, but sure fueled my fire...and gave me the courage to start a second novel.
Meanwhile, my political blog, a little experiment, took off like wildfire, and led to other jobs. I had mixed feelings, because some of what I write invites threatening emails, etc. But it is worth it, and I am thrilled to have made friends with writers on the net whom I admire greatly. . . I have learned a great deal from them about the political world as it really is. What a journey this is.
