”FROM TOLEDO TO HAIFA” is an autobiography and the author’s family  origin at Toledo in Spain during the expulsion of Jews in 1492. ”FROM TOLEDO TO HAIFA” is an autobiography. It was inspired by the author’s desire to document the research of his family whose origin dates back to Toledo in Spain during the expulsion of Jews in 1492. It is also a story of Sephardic tradition and customs of a family which immigrated to Israel at the end of the eighteenth century. The book includes the author’s experiences during the second world war German Luftwaffe air raids on Haifa, his combat in the Irgun battle in Yaffo, his service as an officer in the Seventh Brigade of the IDF (Israel Defence Force) during the 1947-1948 Israel War of Independence and his electronic engineering work at Rafael.
