This plot is very smooth with no gaps, making it hard to put down. The use of Indian culture and tradition is woven in nicely. There are very few characters, and they are well developed. The reader gets to know each character and becomes connected in their story.
I recommend the book "Indian Giver" by Thomas Canter! I LOVED IT. Once I started reading, it was hard to put down, but when I did, I couldn't wait to pick it back up and finish reading. It is a book that keeps your interest...makes you laugh, cry and reflect on many aspects of life. I loved the book so much I contacted the author to talk about my nephew who was deployed in the Army. Thomas Canter was kind enough to autograph a copy of the book and send it to my nephew in Afghanistan! Many soldiers read my nephew's copy and they too enjoyed this book. We need more books such as this one! Thank you, Thomas Canter, for writing and sharing a part of your life with us!
