During one of our walks I noticed an area unexplored. They called it Babylon. Ocean waters separated us from this place most of the time but on occasion we’d pass by close enough to see people travel along the shore. Babylon intrigued me. Of course, it never appeared on the agenda. Abba referred to Babylon as ‘iniquity’s playground’ and not a place for Purple Cloth. His firm opposition irritated me. I knew I could handle the path. Besides, if it became a problem, I could always backtrack. Excitement exhibited by Babylon eventually consumed me. Faint impressions warned me not to proceed, but it was too late. The fever in me diminished His voice. My ears closed. I left.
