"Paths of Memories" is a new poetry book that I collaborated on with a friend of mine, Manel Desvallons. We've been working on this project for awhile now, and we're extremely excited that it's finally published. The book is divided into two parts:

Dead Dream
Home is crazy
Pop is in another country
Mommy resides in New York,
While her son saddens in the dark,
Influenced by the local violence,
So scared, he keeps his silence.
He cries within,
But no help came from the outside.
He tries reaching out for his dream,
Hard for a young,black teen with no pride
He loses faith
His life goes dark
Help comes too late,
As his own bullet penetrates his heart.

Heart of Words
As a young man, I fell in love with words
And when i sruggle under the weight of the world,
I always turn to words for strength and comfort.
In my moments of despair, words sing to me
When i lose my reasons, words become my only truth
Writing is my salvation.
Writing is my savior.
Writing keeps me on the right path,
And inject a sense of purpose and humility in my mind.
With words by my side,
I am immortalized
I can touch the wind
Push back the waves
Hold down the tides
And travel through time.
Today, i sing the glory of words
And tomorrow when i die,
I know i'll still be alive
Because my words will stay behind,
To inspire,
And to remind the present of my kind,
After my time.
