Only a madman or a genius would attempt to steal millions of dollars from the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, in the heart of Washington, D.C.!
Sullivan's Crimeography is the story of John Sullivan, Brooklyn ex-con, Vietnam veteran, street criminal, and drug dealer, who plans and executes the most successful robbery in the history of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. The BEP is responsible for the printing and distribution of all United States currency used throughout the world.
It is 1960 in Brooklyn, New York. John Sullivan grows up a street criminal, and is arrested after stealing a car and delivering it to a local chop-shop operator. John is given a choice: go to jail or enlist in the Army. John is sent to Vietnam, where he joins the Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol, a special-operations unit. During a series of seemingly uncoordinated experiences in which he becomes a middleman in a CIA drug-running operation, John is trained to become a stone-cold killer, and also learns how to design, plan, and execute complex missions. These Vietnam experiences help him to plan the Big Heist.
John meets Ben Lucarello in prison after a failed drug deal. Lucarello, a bank robber with over 20 successful jobs, helps the Sullivan Gang plan and execute the most sophisticated and fantastic robbery in U.S. history!

John walked over and sat at the table with Guzzetta and Marcus Jones.
“Sullivan, this is MD Jones.”
“What’s happening?” Jones said.
“How you doing?” John responded.
“Guzzetta tells me you’re looking for a score. What, the heroin business isn’t good right now?” Jones asked.
“No, it’s not that. It’s just that I’m at the mercy of the gooks and the spooks. I was hoping for something larger. So I heard you’re lining up a job, something big,” John said.
“Yeah, it just so happens I am,” Jones said.
“What is it, smack?” John asked.
“No, man, it’s not heroin. Pretty soon that shit ain’t going to be the big boy on the block. There’s something new coming,” Jones said.
“What are you talking about?” John asked.
“I got a guy in Malaysia who grows coca. He owns acres of this shit,” Jones said.
“Coca? What’s that?” John asked.
“It’s a plant. It’s what cocaine is made out of,” Guzzetta explained.
“They grow this stuff commercially over there, and it’s about ready to explode,” Jones said.
“I don’t know anything about cocaine,” John said.
“You don’t need to,” Jones replied.
“I’ll show you everything you need to know. But I need a guy to go over there, pick up the goods, and bring it back in the country. You dig?”
“That should be no problem. I have a little R&R coming up, and I can go over there and pick up the stuff. How much money are we going to need and how much stuff are we getting?” John asked.
“We need to put up ten grand, and this guy will have at least ten kilos for us. It’s perfect. All we need is ten grand, and we get it back to the States and sell it for a few hundred grand,” Jones said.
“Ten K’s is a lot. How are you going to get that back to the States?” John asked.
“Don’t worry man, I got that covered. You just get it back here, and I’ll take care of the rest. I also heard that you’re short,” Jones commented.
“Yeah, that’s right. Let me guess, you also need someone to pick up the goods stateside.”
“You read my mind. I have a buyer back there, and I’m going to need someone to assist my guys in getting it to the buyer,” Jones explained.
John sat back in his seat and looked squarely at Jones. “All right, but I’m going to have to ask for a bigger cut. I’m taking all the risks here.”
“How much did you have in mind?” Jones asked John.
“Twenty percent of what we make, and you can split the rest between you."
Jones paused for a second. “Okay, that’s fine. But first I got to show you a few things before you go over there,” Jones said.
