Sixteen-year-old Cee has a hopeless crush on her best friend Marcus. Unfortunately for her, Marcus is gay. When Cee discovers she is host to a snarky dragon named Livian, her life becomes even more complicated. While her friends urge her to go to the Magi to have Livian removed, Cee's bond with him grows stronger. She must eventually decide whether to change who she truly is--for the boy who will never love her--or embrace her true nature and tame her inner dragon.
