Walter couldn’t believe it. He rubbed his eyes to clear them and looked around him. His bed was sitting in the middle of a giant float. Girls dressed in long gowns waved to the people standing on the side of the road and clowns dressed in funny suits threw candy to all the children who scrambled around trying to get a handful.
What I read sounds like it should be a hit, brought me back to my own childhood and the great parades we would enjoy. Wish you continued good luck and maybe we will see some short stories from you posted to the den soon...please.
