"I couldn't put the book down!"
Every time I thought I had an idea of where the plot was going there was a new, heart-pounding twist. The time travelers' are an interesting and likeable group of characters who come together for a single purpose, to find Ryan so Jillian can be set free. The author's wonderful imagination takes us on a journey through time and back again. For me, there was a lesson to be learned from the story: Never move in with anyone after dating them for just a month. :) Once you start reading "The Disappearance" you won't be able to put it down.
Move Over Mary Higgins Clark!
Start with a lovely and resourceful young woman, framed for murder. Add a kind and sympathetic attorney and a smart and attractive investigator. Toss in a few off-beat and loyal friends. You have a great recipe for an entertaining story. But when Susan Berliner adds the extra spice of a portal in time, the plot really gets cooking.
If you like mystery-romance novels or science fiction, you will love this book. The characters are engaging, pulling you into a story that somehow makes the incredible seem plausible. The villain's motivation is is revealed skillfully and explores the corrosive power of hatred. Enjoy!

Susan Berliner's third novel is a hit! Once again the author creates a unique blend of action, supernatural phenomena and plot twists that holds your attention from beginning to end. As an English teacher of middle and high school students, I am always in search of novels that can truly hold your interest the whole way through and "The Disappearance" delivers!!! I am anxious to put this in my classroom library along with her first two amazing books!! I can't wait to read the next one!
