Fur Bearer is an action-packed novel of werewolf raids and gory killings. Butch Guhl and his pack must conduct planned, intelligent raids on small communities to satisfy the growing need for human flesh and blood.
     The Guhl pack loses control during their attack on the city of Longville, Minnesota and kills fifty-four residents.     The Morsching werewolf pack decides Butch's pack has crossed to the wild side. To prevent their pack from being exposed, they set out to destroy them. A vicious war breaks out with werewolf killing werewolf.
     Butch takes over his pack to preserve its existence. The werewolf war of extermination ends when Butch proposes a truce to the Morsching pack and they accept.
    However, it is too late, a Police Task Force finds out the werewolves really exist. The Task Force sets out to kill the werewolves before the public learns of their existence. It comes down to a question of survival and Butch is determined to save his pack.
