From Factory 47: The beginning, Chapter Four
Peaches and cream. That's what she smelled like. It was an
enticing smell. Parker loved that smell. It reminded him of his
childhood. All those hot afternoons, standing on the corner waiting
for the ice cream man to come by. The smell of peach cobblers and
pies his mother used to bake snaked from the window sill to mix
with the freshly cut grass.
Katie was a brunette, her straight hair reaching the middle
of her back. Her piercing blue eyes seemed to always be searching
for something. Long legs that, when reaching her ass, made a nice
little indention. Perfect. She was beautiful. And Parker was going
to have her.

From Factory 47: The Beginning, Chapter Eight
Factory 47, situated in the center of the factory district,
had been combed over by police, firemen, news crews, and
everyone else who wanted a peek at where The Thing came
from. A week and a half earlier, Factory 47 was home to one of
the biggest mysteries of the decade. Spence Parker, a serial
killer wanted for the murders of at least five women, was being
pursued through Factory 47 by Police Detective, Second Grade
Daniel Jones.
During the pursuit, Detective Jones wounded the suspect,
Spence Parker, in the arm, when he discharged his firearm,
and later with a hunting knife which was used to cut open the
suspects side. The facts are simple. Detective Jones
bravely pursued a psychotic, sociopathic, deranged, murderer
through a factory. He wounded the suspect in the arm, and later,
the right flank.
What is speculated, or otherwise unclear, is what happened
to Detective Daniel Jones? It has been reported that Detective
Jones lost his life that day in Factory 47, when he was thrown free
of the second story balcony, and into a large vat of an unidentified
green substance, some fifty feet below.
