This story begins as the family is on their way to the moon. The father is reading all about the port way on the moon how there are rooms there for weekend retreats, but he is taking his family to Mars. This young father watches his family sleep their way to the moon as he reads about Mars. After they arrive on the moon, the first thing they notice is the gravity difference that makes the mother somewhat sick.
The two children like it on the moon and while their father is settling their mother they go to the park in this port way. The father tells his wife about Mars and all of the attractions, but when he tells her about retiring to Mars she starts looking for the children. The Space Jet to Mars is boarding and they all take a nap on this trip so that they can handle such speeds.
After waking up on Mars the children notice that there is more gravity on Mars, which their mother is happy about. They take the fast maglev line to Tent A where they have rooms in a low budget hotel. Their father rushes them to Tent B to watch a Pod Race that first night. The Pod Races are a big hit on Mars as are the other extreme sports on Mars.
The next morning the children go to the park with their mother in Tent A as their father explores Tent B “The Sports Complex” where he finds two friends. They all meat at the hotel to eat lunch. That afternoon their mother explores the Mall in Tent C and finds friends. The children go with their father back to Tent B and they play games in the big entertainment center. Over the week they all enjoy what the Tents have to offer.
Before the end of the week they go to the three Mars Domes for a tour of the science dome and a conference in a auditorium in the hotel dome. The conference is about the new City Dome and the first businesses in this new business hub. After the conference they go up to the green house of the hotel dome. All three Mars Domes have a third floor green house, but this one has been made into a park much like parks on Earth.
The family sees another Pod Race in Tent B and before they go they see a Race at the first race way on Mars that is outside in Mar’s atmosphere. The family stay in the hover bus for this race because they are in a rush to catch the space jet that will not leave until every passenger has boarded.
