The story is about a student who successfully completed the second grade. My teacher made us write a lot, every day in second grade. We wrote paragraphs on topics we chose from a list. We wrote journal responses about stories or chapters that we read in our Science or Social Studies Books. We wrote friendly letters to characters from our books. We wrote observation reports on our science experiments. We even wrote entire stories using the steps for writing an interesting story, or the writing process.
