During the creation of this collection, I was traveling an inward path, one that granted me the opportunity to delve into the, deeper me, and not to sound too "over the top", I was given the gift of being able to come to know me better, and I am grateful for that. While The Road to Damascus portrays the same thematic poetry as my first collection, I believe that my artistic maturation is expressed strongly in this collection, and this truth is showcased in many of the pieces. I believe that the readers of this book will enjoy the varied poetic perspectives on love, happiness, loss, spirituality and the human condition.
