“So what have you been into today?”
“Girl I'm out in the greenhouse pruning. I can't believe how beautiful my plants are! You should see my Ficus and Philodendrons, they are trees now! Must be that new potting soil!”
“Potting soil or not, you've just got that green-thumb girl and I know they are beautiful! I can't wait to see them! I've got several that needs repotting, they just look so lifeless! Maybe I'll just bring them over to you so you can give them life with that green thumb of yours.” They chuckled.
“Not a problem! Just bring them over, they probably just need to be moved to a bigger pot with some of this wonderful potting soil and a good watering.”
“I sure will bring them over so you can handle it!” They chuckled.
“So how is Miles?” Quan asked.
“Oh he's fine, he should be on his way home soon presumably. He mentioned that he wanted to leave the office early today and not let nightfall catch him but that hasn't been the case in four or five months now! He's been really busy since his business has grown. I remember when he only had a hand full of clients and being tax time, he's been spending a lot of time at the office. I hardly ever see him!”
“Well that's how it is being a big time Tax Advisor! He's making that money girlie and that's a good thing! You all are doing alright and I don't see you hurting for nothing, he's taking good care of you and that's a good thing too..right?”
“Oh yes! Absolutely! He's a wonderful provider!” Hearing the beep of another call coming in she smiled when she noticed the caller.
“Quan, I have to catch this call, let me get back to you later girl! Okay bye!” Clicking over.
“Hey, you!” She quickly answered with a smile.
“Hello beautiful! I've been thinking about you all day and I had to take a chance. Is this a bad time?”
“Oh no it's fine! I'm all alone.” She responded.
“I had to hear your sweet voice! So how are you today?” He asked.
“How sweet! It's good to hear your voice as well! And actually you've been on my mind too, it's perfect timing!” She flirted.
“Oh yea!” He was elated.
“Yes!” She smiled.
“That's awesome baby, I'm definitely feeling that! Yes indeed! I sure would like to be holding you in my arms right now! That would really make my day!” He smiled.
“Aw, that's a sweet thought!” She blushed.
“Yes, it is! I'd like to wine and dine you tonight. You know, spend a lil time together and get more acquainted! I'm talking a candlelight dinner, soft music, a lil wine and you and I...” He continued.
