WHERE DO I FIT?
Where do I fit?
Tell me please Momma dear.
Sometimes I feel that I don’t belong here!
My sweet darling one, you fit just like a glove
You fill this whole family right up with your love.
There’s sister and brother, Aunt Sue, Uncle Lee,
Papa and Grandma and what about Me?
We wouldn’t feel whole without you,
Don’t you see?
It would be like a puzzle that’s missing a piece.
Without you, this family would not be complete.
And just like you make our puzzle complete,
This family fits neatly, in this house, on this street.
Our own little family is a part of some thing
So great and so big it will make your heart sing.
So you, and this family, in this house, on this street
In this town, in this country, make the picture complete.
We’re part of a “big puzzle” you cannot see
But without Us, this “big puzzle” just couldn’t be.
All people, all houses, all families, all places,
The “big puzzle’s” made up of everyone’s faces.
The country we live in is just one of many,
That shares this sweet earth and it’s gifts, which are plenty.
By getting along, being kind, and by knowing
We are all part of One thing, we can keep this earth going.
The one thing that’s needed, the magical part
Is that special ingredient that lives in your heart.
It’s what makes you know that you came from above.
That you are part of the whole and that part is called love.
Always remember when you think someone’s wrong,
They are part of the puzzle, to which you belong.
We are all puzzle pieces and if we don’t quit
We can make a great world where each one of us fit!
The End
