How could Drew, short for Andrew Colby III, do that to me?
I caught him with that red haired hussy, Selena Burton. The office slut had him pinned in the corner of the lobby, stroking his cock—my cock. Selena’s fingers worked quickly to unfasten his belt, and she was about to slip her lily white fingers inside of his pants, when I stopped her assault. The smile on Drew’s face…he was indeed enjoying this.
“What do you think you’re doing, Selena?” I hissed, when I wanted to scream, but I didn’t want to call attention to us. It was five o’clock and an end to a work week. The lobby was bustling with people escaping the office to start their three-day weekend. Drew and I were going on a romantic getaway, to his parents’ summer home, in Martha’s Vineyard.
“You bitch!”
I grabbed Selena’s hands before she touched my shit.
“Oh, I’m sorry, Chantàl. Is he yours?” she cooed in that irritating voice of hers. “He looked so lonely standing here by himself. I thought I would keep him company.”
Drew stood between us with that devilish grin on his face, stopping my attempt to bitch slapped that smug look right off Selena’s face. No, she didn’t. Selena knew perfectly well that Drew was mine! His pictures sat boldly on my desk. I caught her looking at them just the other day when she entered my office, I thought.
With Drew in the way Selena ran like the chicken that she was. She was the type of woman to start shit, but had no backup.
Enraged, I nearly smacked Drew instead I balled my fist in frustration, running out of the building before I lost my cool. I had a repetition to maintain and would never be caught fighting over a man—let alone a white man!
“Chantàl, I saw you standing there,” Drew said, running up behind me.
“Really?”
“Yes! Seriously, do you think I’d cheat on you with a woman who works in your office?” he said seriously.
“How far were you willing to go to make me jealous, Drew? Her hands were stroking your jewels. You were aroused. I bet if I check your boxer shorts I’d find evidence of your precum.”
Drew chuckled and slid into the driver’s seat of his Volvo SUV.
“Are you getting in?” he complained when I didn’t enter the car right away.
He started the engine, and I threw daggers at him when I finally slid into the passenger’s seat.
Drew’s explanation for that trifling scene didn’t wash. Was I to turn a blind eye when he tapped danced around that act of infidelity? Just like a man. You can’t trust them, I thought. He should’ve resisted her. Our commitment to one another and living together for the past two years should’ve been enough to stop him. Needless to say, we never went on that romantic getaway to Martha’s Vineyard. I couldn’t forget what I had seen.
