This is by far, the best self-help book I have ever read. I am normally slow at reading, taking my time to finish books due to a hectic lifestyle, but I could not put this one down. Instead, I gulped it all up in one sitting.
Lisa's insight is nothing short of stunning. It's as if a higher spirit inhabited her physical body and wrote the words for her. The book is poignant, heartbreaking and ultimately uplifting. I think most women will be able to connect with it and see their own personal struggles in her words. I just LOVED the message that your upbringing and past does not define you... YOU define you and have complete control over re-programming your attitudes and beliefs to live the best life you can. I also adore how empathetic she was to her parents and how she made it a point to stress, that they did the best they could with the tools they had.
I can't express enough, my adoration for this book!!! You need to get it and clear an afternoon to read it cover to cover.
