During a family man's quest to help the less fortunate, tragedy strikes, rocking his world, his community and pushing his faith to the limit.
Taking place in southeast Texas along the Brazos River, Grover Norland, a veteran and ex-air force fighter pilot, and successful business man, prays that God send him someone he can help--someone less fortunate than himself and someone who cannot repay. Grover loves his family--a beautiful wife, Jenna, and two young children, Garrett, age seven, and Joy, age four. They are living the American dream.
Soon Grover meets the pastor of a poor, struggling church and also some of the members. Thieves have stolen the church air conditioners. Grover sees an opportunity to help. God seems to be answering his prayer, but it is here that the wheels of tragedy begin to turn.
What happens in this story, shakes the surrounding communities and churches to the core. It baffles law enforcement and the courts. Even clergy find it hard to believe, even though they understand.
This is the ultimate story of forgiveness; one they've read about in the Scriptures, but have never seen it lived out, especially in their own lives and communities.
