21 century strategic studies and research on global challenges

Category:  Sociology
Publisher: NBI Publishing house

Type: Non-Fiction

Challenges are not ends but means towards an end. They are pointers which render obligatory the emergence of new information, inventions and innovative ideas.

Every century has its challenges. The challenges of each century are pointers to undiscovered  information, ideas,  inventions, innovations, creations and discoveries with respect to life’s demands.

Challenges are not ends but means towards  an end.  They are pointers which  render  obligatory the emergence of new information, inventions and  innovative   ideas.

For a century to birth her individualistic breakthroughs, humanity must take advantage of the challenges of that century as a  means towards new discoveries relative to the needs of that century.

There is no breakthrough except in the courage of exploring challenges as pathways to the unknown.

Challenges come in every century to awake humanity from slumber, complacency and passivity to the expounding of new thoughts relative and relevant to the  needs of that century.       Humanity seems to always settle on her past achievements, thus challenges come in every century to spur  humanity  to look beyond the known into the unknown.

All what humanity knows is not all that should be known. All what humanity has seen is not all that can be seen. There is still so much to know, so much to see.

There is a path which no fowl knoweth

Which the vulture’s eye hath not seen

The lion’s whelps have not trodden it, norThe fierce lion passed by it.

These unknown paths (paths humanity has never travelled) are hidden in the challenges of a century. Any escape from a century’s  challenges, is an escape from a century’s breakthroughs.

There is a solution to every global challenge. These solutions are possible through positive and quality illumination provoked by a quest for insight into the unknown.

The solutions to the challenges of a century reside in the unknown. What humanity knows cannot be sufficient to provide the solutions humanity needs in a century.

Humanity must travel beyond all what exists as knowledge, understanding and experience into knowledge, understanding and experience humanity has never handled.

“The significant problems we are facing can not be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them”

                             Albert Einstein.

This book is the unveiling of the unknown with respect to practical solutions to the 21st century global challenges.

Read this book with a hunger to go past all what exists as knowledge, wisdom and understanding to knowledge, wisdom and understanding humanity has never known.

“This is the beginning of the end”.

Excerpt

Global challenges are the needed breakthroughs, threatening situations and circumstances confronting humanity globally in diverse domains.
They are unresolved conflicts, unanswered questions, unsolved problems and unverified results plaguing humanity globally.
Though global challenges appear as threats, from my research in relation to the views of other great thinkers, I assert that, global challenges are the sign post of every century, pointing and directing humanity to a destination bigger and greater than what humanity has ever attained.
Global challenges sometimes appear as great monsters, projecting fear and dread. But the truth is, they always form the plat- form for every new era of civilization.

Dr Benard Ndep Etta,

Thanks to you for commenting to me today. I have read your bio and deem it nothing short of an honor to know you. Having read about your background and your challenging upbringing - assures me that anything is possible when you put your mind to getting out of a gruesome upbringing as you have. You encourage me. Thanks!
