When Kesh begins to hear strange noises in the walls, he wonders if he's losing his mind. When he begins to see things, he is almost certain of it. Kesh and his two misfit companions are thrust into a fantastic world of myth and danger, and if they survive, none of them will ever be the same.
Kesh Jones is the smallest boy in his class. He's teased by the girls and terrified of Jesse Madosh, the big half Indian kid who lives with his father on the edge of town. One rainy night in October he comes face to face with the terrifyng reality of his new world, and what he does next thrusts him into a world of myth and adventure where people are not what they seem and where he will be tested in ways he never could have imagined.
