Excerpt

Try as he might he just couldn't comprehend the music. He thought, this music really sucks. It may have started out all right but it has steadily been going downhill. The dissonant music grated his ears and increased the tension he was experiencing. He thought about the title The Unanswered Question. He couldn't care less about the question or the answer. The music was giving him a headache. He couldn't wait for it to end. Then, out of the blue as though he were hit by a cosmic revelation everything began to make perfect sense to him.The meditative string music now complemented the discordant music that had so irritated him only a few minutes ago. Boy! How obtuse can I be? It was now obvious what the music was about and how it expressed itself beautifully.

Reviews for "Fantasia on a Theme of Thomas Tallis"

The best book I have ever read. It exposes hypocrisy and is an examination of contemporary mores. It is mainly a love story which shows the power of the arts and a quest for the meaning of our lives. It shows the best and worst of humanity combining philosophy, psychology with a brutal sense of honesty. There are intertwining themes all magnificently combined to form a complete whole. A neglected masterpiece in the true sense of the word.

Coruscated Confabulations: Oh! The Humanity! by Kalikiano Kalei

'Coruscated Confabulations' is a collection of stories and experiences, most of which took place in prior decades. They are taken from or based upon real events, with a certain admixture of fictional embellishments.

Missa Solemnis by Peter Jessop

As deafness, illness, and demonic forces close in around him, Ludwig van Beethoven must summon his faith and genius to complete the Missa Solemnis—a sacred masterpiece he believes could bring divine light into a darkening world.

He Was Weird by Michael LeFevre

My second book is about a boy who has Asperger's Syndrome and is bullied to the point to where he shoots up his school. I have divided the excerpts from it into three parts: Before, during and after the shooting.
