Tales of Obamaland is a collection of 21 enchanting fictional stories and fables that satirize political and current events.  Readers take a mystical journey to a whimsical land of bizarre creatures and misfits, some of whom are not unlike the lovable misfits in our real world.  A politically savvy buffalo doles out sage advise to a babe-in-the-woods freshman congressman.  Right wing caterpillars ponder a decision on whether to help anorexic goats survive.  A former circus ringmaster takes the CEO job at a failing car company, then launches some jack-out-of-the-box turnaround ideas.  The most significant medical breakthrough of the century is ready for market, but held up by warning label paranoia.  World peace is jeopardized by tyrannical penguins in Antarctica.  You get the idea.

The book takes a different tack from the hard-nose, in-your-face approach to discussing events of the day.  The stories are written in somewhat Shel Silverstein / Dr. Seuss style of writing in verse to add to the charm.  It is clearly a unique book, and will get the reader laughing pretty quickly.  It's fun.
