Since no courts existed in the world of revolutionaries, and there was no money for prisons, the slightest infraction resulted in the death penalty. In the near future, urban guerillas may hold sway in many areas of The United States -- and mete out the justice of Che.
"Thousands, perhaps millions of people who have depended upon the capitalist economy throughout their lifetime will find themselves suddenly thrust temporarily into poverty. The length of the suffering time depends upon the speed of recovery from chaos. Those who have been supported by government programs will have to find other means of support. "The world of post-capitalism doesn't seem attractive now, but it will be wonderful when the new economy catches on and the new more direct democracy begins. We can expect a lot of barter and volunteerism to help civilization grow out of chaos and anarchy.
