Victoria Huster is the only relative her Aunt Amelia Walkenhorst has. Even thought Amelia has difficulties taking care of herself, she refuses to have a care-giver in her home or move into Lighthouse Retirement Home. Amelia raised Victoria when her parents were killed in an accident. Because Victoria loves her aunt, she decides to move her family into her aunt's home so she can take car of her. The job is so time consuming and Amelia is so demanding, it creaes problems for her husband, Bruce and her daughter Jessica. Victoria almost looses her husband and an unborn baby because of the demands her aunt makes. Only a miracle can help Victoria deal with her stubborn Aunt Amelia, and be a good mother and wife at the same time.

"Mrs. Huster," a deep authoritarian voice said. "This is Sergeant O'Connor."
Victoria sighed, cradling the phone on her shoulder. "Yes, Sergeant." Victoria knew what the call was about. Lately she received lots of calls from the police deparrtment.
"It's your Aunt Amelia again. Mrs. Huster, you have to do something about her. I know she is a wonderful woman. Remember, she was my teacher too, but we received three calls today. She almost caused an accident. She refuses help and is a safety peoblem. If you don't do something, we will contact social services because she is dangerous to herself and others."
"I know," Victoria said with a sigh. "Bruce and I have tried to get her to move into a home. We tried to get someone to live with her and help her, but she's impossible. It's not that she is senile. Her mind is very sharp. We don't know what to do. She's so stubborn."
