A brilliant young woman that sees passed the horrific layers of this murderous monster, bestowing onto him a blind sense of purpose that guides them through their trials.

The Bleeder first appeared as a simple short story on Demonminds.com, a fantastic horror magazine, and my first publisher. After placing a considerable amount of time in a personal project called “Demonic Tome” which is now called “Deadman’s Tome”, I found it suitable to re-release it, but with a continuation that I felt it truly deserved.
From the very beginning I wanted to do something different, take what currently exists in the realm of horror and mold it into a new form. From the premise alone it barrows from the sociological considerations of Frankenstein, but, of course, Frankenstein never engaged in a killing spree. In fact, the Bleeder’s position as this monstrous entity increases because of this differential outlook. The Bleeder, due to the extensive brain damage that resulted from his operation, is completely alien to anything and everything.
His thought process remains, and though he can remember bits and pieces, the grasp of ethical and moral concepts only begins to emerge in the later episodes. Frankenstein examined how society reacts towards things far too strange to accept. There is a limit to what people can tolerate and we see this exemplified in racial clashes. If people of different ethnical background struggle with discrimination, then what would happen if you place an entity with extreme characteristics? While that alone is a great statement to build off of, I would only be echoing the same statement if I skinned the story of its gruesome, villainous layers. Thus, another reason for why I decided to make the Bleeder engage in these horrible acts.
