An adventure of two friends who search for the lost paintings of Karl Bang.
Nikki Jackson and Summer Days are students of the ADI who are inspired by their favorite archaeologist, Indiana Jones. They rename themselves the Indiana Girls. In this adventure, they travel to China in search for the lost paintings of Karl Bang. Karl Bang was once a famous painter in China. Things get harder when their rivals, known as the UOD, come into the picture. If they get their hands on those paintings, then the beautiful works of art would be destroyed forever. The Indiana Girls escape through parades, nearly fall into death traps, and find hidden chambers. Nikki and Summer are the only hope to bring the paintings to their rightful place: in a museum.
Excerpt
“Well, ladies, as always, I have a surprise for you.”
“Is it another mission?” they both asked.
“Good guess,” Bryson laughed. “Well, years ago, there was a famous painter. He painted many beautiful women. People called his painting galleries the Goddess Central.”
“The Goddess Central?” asked Summer. “Do you mean that painter named Karl Bang?”
“Yes, precisely,” Bryson replied. “I can see that you have been listening to my lectures.”
“So,” Nikki continued. “Is he that same Karl Bang who painted those paintings you showed us the other day?”
“Yes, yes,” Bryson answered. “That is the very reason why I talked about him.”
“Ok, so…what about the paintings?” Nikki asked.
“Well,” started Bryson. “Those pictures have been missing since anyone could remember. It has been said that they have been hidden in some kind of chamber; but we have no idea where that chamber is.”
“Then, how are we supposed to find them?” Summer asked.
“Well, that is why I have chosen you ladies to do this mission,” Bryson answered. He walked into the back room and grabbed something. He came back out with his hands behind his back. “The people who hid the paintings left clues,” he began.
“Well, that sure does make this mission easier,” Summer pointed out. Bryson nodded and handed a small note to Nikki. She took it and unrolled it. It read:
Stand in awe, thy wall so great
Seek thy men thy wall hath ate
”What! Man-eating walls!” Summer cried out loud in complete disgust.
“What does this mean?” asked Nikki with a puzzled look.
“That is why I am using you girls for this mission,” Bryson replied. “You girls can figure this clue out and fit the puzzle together.” The girls thought about, then answered, “We’ll take this mission.”
“Oh, what wonderful news!” cried Bryson, pleased with their answer. But his look faded. “I warn you, though. The University of Discoveries got a hold of this clue first.”
“What do you mean?” Summer asked.
“I mean that they had this clue first. ADI, though, was able to get the clue from them; which is now in your very fingers.”
“So…they also know what the clue says?” asked Nikki.
“Precisely,” Bryson replied. “But I doubt they know its meaning.”
“True; but they themselves have smart minds,” Summer added. “They could figure it out anytime.”
“Well, not unless we figure it out first!” Nikki declared.
