Gene Madness by Linda Guyan is a terrifying murder mystery with plenty of action and twists to keep it going. The book kicks off in the past, laying a bit of groundwork, but not giving too much away before it moves on to the present. From there, the roller coaster starts up and off it goes on one long twisting, turning, gut-wrenching ride, a ride that is going to open your eyes wide because you won’t want to shut them. This is a very cleverly written story, with some colorful and well-developed characters who change throughout the plot. The plot is unique, very well thought out, and there is no let-up as the story romps to a conclusion that you might just not be expecting. Excellent story, well recommended for fans of murder mysteries and those who love a twisting story to get involved in. I am looking forward to reading more from Linda Guyan.
