As women and people in general we tend to tear down our black men instead of lifting them up. Yes, some have not and will not step up to the level of manhood that says they have arrived but for the most part the majority are finding their way.
Regardless of my many relationships with black men good or bad I felt it important to still pay tribute to them for they are the backbone of our society and they need to take their place back in the household, the lives of their children and the hearts of women and mankind.
