PEANUT IS SOOOOOOOOO BUSTED!
Normally I do not need to write much about Peanut, because normally she behaves. Not tonight.
I told her at 7:35 that she had 25 minutes and she needed to be in. I told her I did not want to have to go find her. After getting her brothers settled, I looked at the clock and it was 9 p.m. and there was no sign of Peanut.
So I went down the street to Fluffernutter & Lizzie's house, peered in their bedroom window, and Fluffernutter asked what I wanted. I said, "Peanut knows what I want," and I came home. Then I had time to bring their bikes inside, and still no Peanut.
So I marched back down to Fluffernutter & Lizzie's, knocked on the window again, and stood there until Peanut got up and left the room.
Back in our living room, I read her the riot act. Her explanation? "I lost track of time."
There will be consequences.
