You Deserve The Best…
We can choose to commit ourselves to the pursuit of a life with Christ. Remember how
Excellent He is in all the earth. As you press towards the mark of the prize of the high
Calling, strive for Excellence in doing things in Jesus’ name.
Excellence is a measurement, and that has with it a sense of accountability. Excellence demands a goal or point to shoot for, and that is the willingness to step out on faith.
Excellence has a spirit of testimony, and that is telling others as well as yourself what comes first in your life.
Excellence is a maturity, and that means washing your heart daily with the Word of God. Excellence has a unique quality and that means discovering what gifts God has blessed you with and how to minister with them.
Excellence has to do with an inner strength, and that is what it’s all about.
How do we respond to the goal of excellence?
Prioritize your life. You cannot do everything; you cannot be everything and that is wonderful. Everyone has a task and a series of responsibilities that God has called them to do.
Decide who you are and what you are in the body of Christ; listen to hear from God and wait patiently on Him to tell you what to do with your excellence. It was Jesus who said: “Behold, He does all things well.” Today, make a choice to strive for that excellence, because the god of the average is not the God the Bible says went broke for me and for you.
As we march on towards Christian excellence, keep it in perspective.
Some things are more clearly excellent than others are. Paul in Philippians 1:9 says we will be able to tell how we can judge what is excellent:
“It is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruits of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory praise of God.”
We as God’s children must press on to a higher calling and tasks that lie ahead. Too many of us are willing to settle for “good enough” instead of “good,” and “good” instead of “excellent.” Let each of us, in the responsibilities God has given us; fulfill them so that people will not equate mediocrity with the things of God. We deserve better. God deserves our best!

My hope is that you too will come to experience His Love, His Mercy and His peace and know that it is God loving you. It is God supplying Mercy in your life. It is God blessing you with a peace that is comforting and everlasting.
As He walks with you and talks to you, He is shaping you to become what He wants you to be in the Body of Christ. As He develops you- you will come to experience and know The True Beauty from Within.
