His excellent colorful pen and ink and colored pencil illustrations grace each facing page. Certainly, everyone will love to have a copy on the coffee table or in the collection. The story is based on a true relationship between a gentleman, "Pop", who lives in Georgia, and a pelican that he has befriended. It contains an excellent moral lesson for youngsters and the drawings are elegant. It is truly a book everyone would enjoy having in their collection.
