been shot twice.” The situation was later compounded when I was told,
“He lost a lot of blood and the doctors don’t think he’s going to make it.
He’s being transported by Life Flight to the hospital’s emergency room
in Beaumont, Tex
In “God Cancelled Satan’s Assignment,” I tell how my younger son
Keith, family members, friends, and I staged a two-week plus hospital
bedside vigil, complete with prayer, praise and protection, intertwined
with the spirit of Christmas as my first-born laid in a coma. The ending
was no less miraculous than when Jesus spoke the words in the Bible,
“Take up your bed and walk.”

What happened next is a tale of faith, hope and strength as promised
by God in Psalm 46:1-3, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present
help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed,
and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though
the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake
with the swelling thereof.”
